Mi nombre es Catalina, vivo en Buenos Aires, Argentina, y llevo adelante este pequeño proyecto editorial de libros y fanzines de artista, pensados, escritos, dibujados, diagramados, impresos, cortados, cosidos, embalados y despachados tan solo por mi.

No me gusta mostrar la cara y me encantaría que esté proyecto llevara otro nombre, pero no se me ocurrió ninguno y me urgía empezar a imprimir, por eso me pareció resolutivo avanzar con el nombre que me tocó.

Mi formación es multidisciplinaria, formal y autodidacta, impulsada y sostenida por mis arbitrarios intereses. 

Cuando aprendí a escribir quise ser poeta y luego un millón de cosas más, y todas intenté serlas, o de alguna manera las fui, mientras intentaba ser también otras cosas.

Invado un montón de espacios y no me siento parte de ninguno: escritura, ilustración, edición, diseño, encuadernación y fotografía son herramientas que necesito para darle forma a este proyecto.

A veces también doy clases. 

Si me tengo que definir me defino como hacedora de cosas, si me dejan evitarlo, lo evito.

Creo que lo que muestro en cada edición es solo una captura de un proceso interminable, un retrato de un momento en el tiempo. 

Supongo que por eso me cuestan las definiciones.

Si estamos atados al tiempo, estamos atados al cambio y el movimiento.

My name is Catalina, born and raised and currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I manage this small publishing project of artists books and zines thought, written, drawn, diagrammed, printed, cut, sewn, packaged and shipped only by me. .

I don't like to show my face and I would love for this project to have another name, but I couldn't think of one and I urgently needed to start printing, so it seemed reasonable to me to move forward with the name that someone else had thought for me.

I have a multidisciplinary, formal and self-taught training, driven and sustained by my arbitrary interests. 

When I learned to write I wanted to be a poet and then a million other things, and I tried to be all of them, or in some way I was, while I also tried to be other things.

I invade a lot of spaces and I don't feel part of any of them: writing, illustration, editing, design, binding and photography are tools that I need in order to shape this project.

Sometimes I also give classes, where I ramble about all of this.

If I have to define myself I define myself as a stuff maker. If I can, I avoid any definitions.

I believe that what I show in each edition is just a snapshot of an endless process, a portrait of a moment in time. I guess that's why I have a hard time with definitions.

If we are tied to time, we are tied to change and movement.
